CLUSTERXCHANGE BETWEEN POLISH CLUSTER OF COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES AND i-TRANS COMPETITIVENESS CLUSTER

OVERALL OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTICIPANTS
- Presentation of technological and research capabilities of clusters involved in the exchange (VO and HO)
- Discovering companies and research institutions associated in each cluster
- Acknowledgement with the French market (of railway industry, sustainable multimodal and urban transportation systems) and its potential
- Finding joint interest and intersection points for a cross-sectorial collaboration between clusters, its institutions, and companies in the sectors of competences of both clusters
- Defining partners and areas of cooperation
- Implementation of joint research projects
- Creating a long-term of cooperation between clusters, institutions, and member’s companies of both countries
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTICIPANTS
- Develop new cross-border and cross-sectoral partnerships (after identifying the most beneficial area of cooperation) that can lead to new international projects
- Increase the visibility of the cluster organization in both countries
- Obtain knowledge in mobility and composite markets in France and Poland
- Comparison of cluster activities and best practices used (cluster management, services to members, implementation of strategies…)
INDIVIDUAL OBJECTIVES OF i-TRANS
- To discover the cross-border possibilities for collaboration with Polish cluster, to involve their own members into these new opportunities
- To find new good practices used in another cluster that could be used in i-Trans cluster
- To promote i-Trans activities and facilitate establishing relation with new market
- To gather knowledge about Polish market of composite technologies and to find how to implement this information to benefit companies (members and non-members) and stakeholders
INDIVIDUAL OBJECTIVES OF POLISH CLUSTER OF COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES
- To identify and understand how the French market of transportation and mobility functions. To compare this new market to the Polish market
- To look for establishing new long-period relations with new subjects
- To find new possible cross-border business partners for its member companies
- To discover possibilities for future research and development or innovation projects
- To verify if it is worth to come to the SIFER railway exhibition next year that is usually organized by i-Trans (the next exhibition will be held in March 2023)
ACTION PLAN AND AGENDA
The HO (TTP i-Trans – competitiveness cluster) is an experienced French cluster for railway industry, sustainable multimodal and urban transportation systems.
The VO (The Polish cluster of Composite Technologies) has requested the exchange to discover if any cross-border applications represented by Polish Composite technologies market exist.
The scope of exchange is exploring new markets, learning new cluster practices and networking activity with the members.
The exchange is planned for 3 working days and consists of 3 main activities for the VO:
- Gathering knowledge about both HO’s and VO’s activities, projects, R&D and Innovation, and other specific features and comparison analysis of market of transportation and composite technologies’ market
- Sharing clusters’ best-practices and possible opportunities of collaboration (in EU projects, joint R&D activities, etc.)
- Organising a Networking session among VO and some companies (members) of HO that are interested in composite technologies use
All 3 days of exchange will be held in the Northern France at the address:
